Day 1: Canberra to Wagga (L)
Cruise down the Hume for a morning tea stop in Gundagai and then on to Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory for a guided tour and lunch. We will view our first street art in Wagga – the Cadell Place murals – which can be enjoyed from the Wiradjuri Walking Track beside the Murrumbidgee River. Dinner is at the local RSL club.

Day 2: Wagga to Echuca Moama (B,L)
Today we travel via Lockhart and Urana to view several water tower artworks and our first silo art in Picola. We arrive in Echuca in time for lunch before a private tour of the Great Aussie Beer Shed with its characterful owner, Neil (I guess you would have to be a character to create a famous beer shed!). We then check in to our accommodation and enjoy dinner at Moama Bowling Club.

Day 3: Echuca (B,L)
Today is all about the river! Learn about the history of the port of Echuca and the role it played in the development of industry along the Murray during a private walking tour with Gwen from the Echuca Historical Society. It’s then all aboard the PS (Paddle Steamer) Pride of the Murray, for a Wharf to Winery lunch cruise with commentary from the crew. This afternoon, enjoy some free time in Echuca before dinner at Rich River Golf Club.

Day 4: Moama to Beechworth (B,L)
This morning we view magnificent painted silos in Rochester as well as the Rochester mural street art. We also stop at the impressive painted silos at Colbinabbin before heading to Benalla for lunch at the historic Bootmaker’s Café. After lunch, we enjoy a private guided town and street art tour with local postmaster Lindsay. We stay in Benalla tonight, and enjoy dinner at a local hotel.

Day 5: Rutherglen (B,L)
This morning we head to the Rose Garden to meet Lindsay who is going to take us on a guided tour of the spectacular silo art between Benalla and Yarrawonga. We then head to the Rutherglen cellar door of DeBortoli Wines for a scrumptious two course lunch, wine tastings and art gallery visit. We then head to our accommodation in Beechworth in time for you to decide if you can fit in dinner at the historic Hotel Nicholas!

Day 6: Beechworth (B,L)
Today is all about the gorgeous historic town of Beechworth! This morning we have a private guided tour of the historic precinct including the museum and courthouse. After some free time, we then enjoy a fabulous old time lunch with Lyn at Moments and Memories Tea Room. After lunch it’s all aboard the Gang Gang Tours’ scenic tour of Beechworth including the gorge drive, Woolshed Falls, Beechworth cemetery and Bilson’s Brewery. Dinner is at the Hibernian Hotel.

Day 7: Beechworth to Canberra (B,L)
This morning we head home via the National Museum of Australian Pottery in Holbrook (morning tea included) and then Gundagai for lunch before our farewells.
