Terms and Conditions
When you make a booking with Gang Gang Tours Pty Ltd (ACN 612628878), you agree to have read and accept the following terms and conditions.
All advertised dates, itineraries and prices are valid until 31 December 2024.
To travel with us, international guests will need comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, and that includes the highest level of medical cover available. You will need to show it to the guide before you board the bus. We strongly suggest that domestic guests also have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, amendment and emergency accommodation. Payment and cancellation policy
A $300 non-refundable deposit is paid at the time of booking to secure your place (this may be more for some tours – please refer to the tour information on the tour page). The balance of the tour cost (plus a single supplement if applicable) is payable 60 days prior to departure (this may be earlier for some tours – please refer to the tour information on the tour page). If a booking is made within 60 days of the departure date (this may be earlier for some tours – please refer to the tour information on the tour page), full payment will be required at the time of booking.
Our tours require extensive planning, coordination and costs, as well as advance bookings and payments of accommodation and activities. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your tour with us, the following cancellation fees will apply:
Bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to departure – Forfeit of $300 non-refundable deposit (this may be more for some tours – please refer to the tour information on the tour page).
Bookings cancelled within 60 days prior to departure – 100% of tour cost (this may be earlier for some tours – please refer to the tour information on the tour page).
Please note that your tour cost is fully transferrable. If you have someone that is willing to take your seat on the tour, a simple name transfer can take place.
Notice of cancellation must be received in writing and must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or PO Box 568 Jindabyne NSW 2627.
Transferring to another tour date may be treated as a cancellation if we cannot fill your seat.
Our customised private tours will require a 30% non-refundable deposit, payable upon booking. The balance of the tour cost will be due 60 days prior to departure, with no refunds after this time.
Our scheduled tours require a minimum of eight persons to run.
Payment of deposit and/or tour balance can be made by direct bank transfer, personal cheque or bank cheque. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit cards for payment.
PLEASE NOTE: If a tour is cancelled by us due to Force Majeure (i.e. circumstances and/or events outside the control of Gang Gang Tours Pty Ltd) such as (but not limited to) bushfires, floods and pandemics (i.e. lockdowns and/or border closures that prohibit us from conducting the tour), all monies possible will be refunded to you, minus your $300 deposit which will be held as credit for you for a future tour (and will be fully transferable). In addition, if any of our third-party providers do not provide a refund to us, but instead offer us a credit, then these monies will also be held in credit for you.
Any information we collect from you, will only be used for the purpose of providing our tour product to you, and will be kept confidential. We may use your email address in the future to let you know about new Gang Gang Tours products and news.
Health, fitness, mobility and medical conditions
Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking, and a Confidential Application and Medical History Form may be emailed to you, to be completed prior to departure. We may request further information and/or a medical clearance to travel (at your expense), before your booking is confirmed.
Our tours suit guests of all fitness levels, however, our guests’ mobility should be adequate to board and disembark our 22 seater bus (3 steps with handrails available) and to negotiate uneven surfaces and a few steps at some locations. Some of our tours involve more walking than others (e.g. our garden tours, walking tours, or tours including guided town walking tours). Where a tour includes for example more stairs than is regular, or showers over baths, this will be stated in the tour itinerary on our website. Please familiarise yourself with the tour itinerary and activity inclusions before booking.
Guests should be able to manage their own luggage, although Jeff and Janine do aim to help with your bags at every opportunity. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate walking frames, as our bus does not have any under-bus storage, and we cannot guarantee smooth level access at all locations. The only form of walking aid that can be accommodated is a walking stick.

Change of itinerary
From time to time, travel routes, activities, accommodation and scheduling may have to be changed with little or no notice due to, but not limited to, events such as inclement weather, road works, natural disasters, operational issues, accidents, or other unforeseen circumstances. In these instances, no refunds will be offered, nor is Gang Gang Tours liable for any cancellation fees incurred from connecting services. If while on tour, additional accommodation costs are incurred due to (but not limited to) the factors listed above, these additional costs will be the responsibility of the guest. These ’emergency accommodation’ costs are claimable on a comprehensive travel insurance policy.
Yarrangobilly Caves House
This heritage listed accommodation is very popular, and a long lead time is required to guarantee availability. Every effort will be made on every Snowy Mountains Hydro Majestic tour to secure this accommodation, but if it is not available, then an alternative of equal quality will be provided.
Acceptance of risk
Your safety and comfort are our highest priority. All of our guests participate in our tours at their own risk, and Gang Gang Tours can accept no responsibility for any loss, accident, illness or injury incurred by you. All guests will need to sign liability waivers and Covid-19 declarations before they can board the bus.
Limit of liability
To put together our tours, we work with a number of other quality businesses, who also have your safety and comfort as their number one priority. Some of these providers may also require you to sign a liability waiver before participation. Gang Gang Tours takes no responsibility for any act of neglect by these providers or their agents that may result in loss, accident, illness or injury to you.
Authority on tour
Guests must abide by any direction given by the tour guides regarding their behaviour and/or actions. This is especially important in National Parks, in or near a body of water, and in any area with elevated and/or particular risks and hazards, as deemed by the tour guides. Failure to abide by the tour guides’ direction may result in denial of onward travel with no refund. This also pertains to any behaviour or action, as deemed by the tour guides, to be negatively impacting on the safety and or enjoyment of another guest or guests.
Gang Gang Tours Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time, without notice, and these Terms & Conditions apply as at the date of your initial booking.
