A fabulous short three day getaway to experience the Bundanon Homestead, Arthur Boyd’s Studio and Art Museum, with a few lovely walks thrown in.

Day 1 – Canberra to Nowra

We head to the coast at Currarong for lunch at Zac’s famous fish and chip shop, before a walk in the Jervis Bay National Park at Beecroft Headland. Dinner is in Nowra.

Day 2 – Bundanon – B,L

Today is all about Bundanon. We head first to the Homestead and artist’s studio for a guided tour, with time to enjoy a walk around the Homestead area and down to the river.

It’s then on to the Ramox Cafe for lunch before our private guided tour of the Art Museum.

We will have time after lunch to explore the Art Museum at our leisure, including the Season 3 exhibition that will feature specially commissioned works from first nations artists from Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.

Dinner is in Nowra.

Day 3 – Nowra to Canberra – B,L

This morning we will have a quick coffee stop in Kangaroo Valley before our walks at the majestic Fitzroy Falls in Moreton National Park.

We will then enjoy lunch in Moss Vale before a visit to the sublime Red Cow Farm in Sutton Forest.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a walking tour and involves walking on dirt trails in national parks and bushland over uneven, rocky surfaces. These walking trails are of varying grades, and the distance walked can be adjusted to suit each guest. Your vision and mobility should be adequate to navigate such trails, and some bushwalking experience is essential. Please familiarise yourself with the types of walks we will be doing via the links below.
